An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 RS hits the eastern part of Indonesia this Saturday, June 15, 2019, at 03 hours with 10 minutes, local time.
According to information from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) of Indonesia, the epicenter was at sea, about 216 km southwest of Maluku southeast, at coordinates 5.89 LS, 130.80 BT, with a depth of 144 Km
Disturbances by earthquakes perceived as (MMI) III-IV in Saumlaki and II-III in the Sorong area. The BMKG said the earthquake had no tsunami potential.
