At 13:15 hours today, the data regarding Hurricane Lorena, Category 1, is, with its center is located in the waters of the Gulf of California off the eastern coast of Baja California Sur, at the North latitude coordinates 26.1°, west longitude 110.8°, 55 km east-northeast of Loreto, Baja California Sur and 205 km south of Guaymas, Sonora, and moves north (350°) at 19 kilometers per hour, with wind speeds 120 to 150 kilometers per hour.
According to the report, there is a probability of heavy to heavy rains (150 to 250 liters / m2) in Sonora, very heavy to heavy rains (75 to 150 liters per square meter) in Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, northern Sinaloa and very heavy rains forts (50 to 75 liters per square meter) in Durango. There is potential for marine thrombi on the east coast of Baja California Sur, Sonora and Sinaloa.
The government recommends that people living on the coasts of the affected states, as well as seafarers and sailors, take precautions against heavy rains, wind and waves, and follow the recommendations issued by the authorities of the National Protection System Civil in each entity.
